Fiberdom is proud to announce a new retail partnership with S Group, one of Finland’s largest retailers.
Starting today, shoppers at S Group stores nationwide can purchase Fiberdom’s full range of 100% plastic-free, certified home-compostable, and recyclable single-use cutlery. The range includes soup spoons, forks, knives, and the newly launched small spoon—a product range that combines functionality and sustainability.
“While single-use cutlery isn’t something most people use every day, there are times when it’s the most practical option—whether for a picnic, a takeout meal, or an event,” says Tomi Järvenpää, General Manager, Fiberdom. “Our goal is to provide a better alternative for those occasions, combining convenience with environmental responsibility. This partnership with S Group means more consumers across Finland can access high-quality, plastic-free cutlery that meets both their needs and the highest sustainability standards.”
Made from FSC-certified wood pulp and other natural ingredients, the cutlery is fully recyclable within standard carton streams and certified for home composting. The eco-friendly packaging provides clear guidance to help consumers dispose of the products responsibly—making it easier than ever to make better choices.
Fiberdom’s cutlery complies with the EU’s Single-Use Plastics Directive, which aims to reduce plastic waste across Europe by banning or limiting the use of certain plastic products. By providing a certified, natural alternative, Fiberdom supports retailers and consumers in navigating these changes responsibly.
